The accident that sent 45-year-old former Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan to the hospital with critical injuries and killed comedian James McNair on June 7, 2014 along the New Jersey Turnpike has prompted renewed scrutiny of federal rules regarding the trucking industry.
